Loving Our Neighbors in Ways They Can Hear

Posted by Shandon Baptist Church on

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO SERVED!

We loved seeing your comments on social media and hearing that LoveLoud is one of your favorite events/days of the year! So many of you (over 500!) sacrificed a good chunk of your Saturday to spend it serving others in the name of Jesus. Volunteers of every age were serving, from the youngest to the oldest. It was so encouraging to see families serve together and our middle school, high school and college students getting involved.

The 30+ projects varied in size and scope but they all had this in common: your efforts blessed the people and organizations you served. Your time and presence mattered! Your kind words, smiles, and handshakes warmed hearts and told others that they are important--more important than football, errands, and Saturday chores. So thank you! Thank you for loving our neighbors in ways they can hear!

"Let us know lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary." - Galatians 6:9, NASB
